BESE Ph.D. candidate Batool Albar has been selected to participate in the 75th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Germany, joining four other KAUST researchers among just 600 young scientists chosen worldwide for this prestigious forum. Supervised by Professor Himanshu Mishra in Environmental Science and Engineering, Albar also serves as General Manager of the KAUST startup Terraxy Company Inc., exemplifying the intersection of scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

KAUST is the only Saudi institution represented at the annual meeting — a distinction widely regarded as an early indicator of future scientific leadership among participating students.
