Bio:
Dr. Sungpyo Kim received his PhD from SUNY at Buffalo in 2005 in environmental engineering. His research group at Korea University have focused on the fate of microcontaminants in aquatic environment. From 2020, his group began wastewater surveillance for the presence of pathogens including SARS‑CoV‑2, and are currently a leading research group for expanding their efforts to South Korea.
