Title: ÄKTA™ chromatography systems family, system specifications and UNICORN with the new developments in the portfolio. ÄKTA™ basic care and troubleshooting - To prevent problems during protein purification Optimization of the purification process using Amersham ImageQuant™ 800 and IQTL analysis software
Abstract:
Since many years the name ÄKTATM is worldwide known for an innovative and reliable tool in purification of proteins and other biomolecules. In the first presentations we would like to present innovations in system hardware as well developments of new resins. Good laboratory practice is a key element of receiving reliable results. This as well as trouble shooting on “real” results will help ÄKTATM users to become more confident with their equipment and will be focused on the 2nd presentation. How chromatography and analysis of the purification results based on imaging work together will be shown in the third presentation.

Title: Biacore™ SPR systems: deep insights into molecular interactions
Abstract:
Biological processes are dynamic, real-time events driven and regulated by interactions between key molecules. Understanding these molecular interactions is fundamentally important in the life sciences.
Cytiva’s Biacore™ systems utilize surface plasmon resonance (SPR), a label-free biophysical technology, to monitor and characterize molecular interactions in real-time. From microliters of sample, SPR provides comprehensive information on affinity, kinetics, specificity, comparability, and active concentration of molecular interactions.
Biacore™ SPR systems are designed to deliver valuable information and high-quality interaction data for a broad range of molecular entities and scaffold types, including small molecules, fragments, antibodies, multidomain proteins, and viruses. These systems are employed in a wide range of applications across various scientific fields, including basic biological research, drug discovery and development, immunogenicity studies, vaccine development, and quality control.
